Other Important Information
- October’s practice support tool is the Resolving Professional Practice Issues Practice Guideline, which helps nurses understand how to identify, communicate and resolve professional practice issues.
- A new regulatory model for nurse practitioners (NPs) will take effect in spring 2027 in Nova Scotia. NPs will be educated and licensed to practice across the client life span (all client ages) and across health care practice settings, rather than by client population, including Family All Ages / Primary Care, Pediatric, and Adult.
