NSCN is inviting nurse practitioners (NPs), employers and other interested parties to attend our upcoming webinar on November 19th from 3:00pm AST.
Register for the webinar here. Once registered, please stay tuned for confirmation that includes the information you will need to connect to the webinar via Microsoft Teams.
About the Webinar:
This webinar will provide information on the new national regulatory model for nurse practitioners which was initiated in 2020 by the Canadian Council of Registered Nurse Regulators (CCRNR).
The new model will enable NPs to be educated and licensed to practice across the client life span and across health care practice settings, where currently they are educated and licensed across Canada by client population or setting, including Family All Ages / Primary Care, Pediatric, Adult, and Neonatal. The new model is being implemented across Canada beginning in 2026 and will be in place in Nova Scotia in spring 2027.
If you are unable to attend the webinar, an online FAQ and an education module will be available on the NSCN website in the coming weeks.
If you have any questions, please contact practice@nscn.ca.
