Important Information About Document Requests
- There is a fee of $57.50 CAD for document requests.
- Document request fees are non-refundable. Be sure the form is the one you need before submitting your request.
- Only NSCN applicants or registrants can submit a document request.
- We do not process requests from third-party organizations. If you are an organization that has a document request, please ask the applicant or registrant to contact registration@nscn.ca directly to submit the request.
What is a VOR used for?
- A VOR is used to verify your current or previous registration and licensing with us. This letter is sent only to other regulatory bodies, NNAS, and CGFNS.
- A VOR is usually required when registering or licensing in another province, country, or state.
How do I request a VOR?
- Log into the registrant portal.
- Go to the Optional Requests-Not Required section.
- Select Verification of Registration and Licensure form.
- Fill out the form, submit your request, and pay the applicable fee.
- After submission, we will send the VOR to the regulatory body or nursing credential evaluator of your choice.
- Pay the fees when submitting the form. We’ll process your request as soon as both the payment and the form are received.
- If you need verification sent to multiple regulatory bodies, you must add each of them in the form's "Regulatory Bodies" field.
