Resolving Professional Practice Issues Practice Guideline

Nurses are accountable to recognize and attempt to resolve professional practice issues (PPIs) to minimize potential negative impacts on clients. It may be considered a violation of your standards of practice if you are aware of a PPI but do not take action. We developed the Resolving Professional Practice Issues Practice Guideline to help nurses understand how to identify, communicate and resolve professional practice issues.
