Now Open: Nurse Manager Workshop - Needs Assessment Survey

NSCN is seeking feedback from individuals (nurses and non-nurses) who provide leadership to nurses including managers, directors, professional practice leaders and clinical nurse educators on the development of a one-day workshop for nurse managers. The survey is designed to seek your feedback on what you consider are important aspects to include in a workshop for nurse managers to support nursing practice.

Completing the survey should take you approximately 15 minutes. The survey will be open from September 28 to October 12, 2023, please complete the survey before this date. Your answers will be anonymous; only aggregate data will be used for workshop planning.

CEO & Registrar Sue Smith shares why Building Culturally Responsive Care for Nova Scotians is an important survey

NSCN is currently conducting Building Culturally Responsive Care for Nova Scotians, a survey for nurses to help us learn more about the diversity of the profession and establish baseline data. It will also help NSCN better understand the role we can play in ensuring nurses are able to provide culturally responsive care.

Watch our video here from our CEO & Registrar, Sue Smith, as she speaks about why the survey is important to the nursing profession in our province and how it furthers our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Thank you to those who’ve taken the time to complete the survey – response has been steady. If you haven’t had a chance yet, you’ll find the survey link in our special renewal newsletters sent to you on August 2nd and September 20. Additionally, you will receive the link to the survey in an email once your 2023-2024 licence has been processed. If you are having trouble accessing the survey link, please email diversity.inclusion@nscn.ca and we can provide it.

If you have questions or want to learn more about the survey, please visit our website here, view our FAQ resource, or contact diversity.inclusion@nscn.ca
