The Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) is hosting the Supporting Professional Practice in Nursing - NSCN Workshop 2024 on September 27, 2024, at the Simon Hotel in Sydney. See below for further event details.
Based on our analysis of practice consultation in both 2022 and 2023 and a needs assessment survey conducted in October 2023, NSCN identified that a workshop for Managers (both nurse and non-nurses), Clinical Nurse Educators, Professional Practice Leads and others that support nurses in professional practice would be welcomed and well attended. Please note: NSCN held this workshop in Dartmouth in May 2024, and the same topics will be presented at the Sydney workshop.
Topics at the workshop will include:
- Everyday Leadership
- Transition to Practice
- Sexual Misconduct Standards for Nurses
- Optimization of Scope - Three-Factor Framework
