The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is currently recruiting qualified registered nurses (RNs) to participate in two upcoming NCLEX-RN examination meetings. These panels play an essential role in ensuring the exam continues to reflect current nursing practice.
NCSBN is seeking RNs who work with entry-level nurses and meet the following qualifications:
- Hold an active RN licence
- Are engaged in current clinical practice
- Supervise, precept, or mentor newly licensed RNs within their first 12 months of practice
The two meetings will take place at the NCSBN office in Chicago, Illinois*:
- NCLEX-RN Practice Analysis Expert Panel – October 13-14, 2026
- NCLEX-RN Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) Expert Panel – November 17-18, 2026
*Please note all travel expenses, including airfares and accommodations, are covered by NCSBN.
These volunteer opportunities allow nurses to contribute directly to the development of the NCLEX-RN exam, which assesses the knowledge, skills, and abilities for safe and effective entry-level nursing practice.
