Not Renewing Due to Illness or Injury

If you going to be off from work on an illness or injury leave of absence, please review the information below.  We recommend that you continue to check the website to determine if there have been any changes to the application processes or timeframes.

Note: Our licensure year runs from November 1 – October 31.

You do not need to hold a practising licence. Please change your license status on our LPN Registrant Portal during the annual renewal period by following step #3 in the Step-by-Step Guide to Completing your Online Renewal. The deadline to complete this step is October 31.

If you do not hold a practicing licence, your licensure status on the Search for a Nurse will indicate that you are not currently licensed as of November 1.
