- NSCN Board appointment of NSCN Chair and Vice-Chair
The NSCN Board appointed Charmaine McPherson as Chair and Jason Reeves as Vice-Chair of the first Nova Scotia College of Nursing Board. - Appointment of NSCN CEO and Registrar
The NSCN Board appointed Sue Smith, Transition Executive Director & Registrar of CLPNNS and CEO & Registrar of CRNNS, NSCN CEO and Registrar effective April 24, 2019.

- The NSCN Board met to receive an update on the status of the new Nursing Act and Regulations and to review items that will be presented to them for decision following proclamation of the new Nursing Act.
